Good news. Bruno is able to pee on command! I’m not sure if he is leaking or not. His bedding gets wet, but it could be the guinea pig water bottle. He ate dinner, too. And roast salmon skin wrapped pills are very yummy. He also got cucumber, tonight.
Bruno doesn’t seem to be in any pain and is adjusting to his change in circumstances. He’s not eating much. I wish I could say the same. His plight has added up to an additional hour to my mornings, an additional midday trip home (not too disruptive since I still leave work to pick up [...]

Bruno seems to have a ruptured disk. Since exact diagnosis wouldn’t change our treatment, I decided not to have him x-rayed or otherwise imaged. We’re not going to pursue surgical treatment. He was in terrific pain. That seems to have subsided, but he’s paralyzed from the “waist” down. We’re trying a treatement of meds (painkillers [...]
Burda Plus Spring 2007 411 Placket Woes Sigh. I screwed up with the placket and cut it too far down. I think I’ve just kept on with the screwing up. I added additional length to the placket “strips”; that’s not the additional screw up. Things are crooked, and I’m going to have fraying edges. I [...]
We went zip lining at Comstock. I highly recommend it.
