Much of the neighborhood that I live in used to be Almond Orchards. They are one of the first Spring blossoms, and when they fall, the petals coat the ground like snow.

Discarded medications flushed down the toilet have been showing up in the environment. Wastewater treatment does not remove these chemicals from the water. A microearthquake occurred at 12:07:30 PM (PDT) on Wednesday, August 27, 2008. The magnitude 1.3 event occurred 3 km (2 miles) NE of Dublin, CA. The hypocentral depth is 14 km ( 9 miles). I didn’t feel it.

I sure didn’t. A microearthquake occurred at 6:57:31 AM (PDT) on Monday, August 25, 2008. The magnitude 1.5 event occurred 14 km (8 miles) SE of Livermore, CA. The hypocentral depth is 6 km ( 4 miles).
