32 Square Tote
This bag is a sample from Rami King’s presentation at the 2009 ASG Conference. I thought it was a good size and would be a good project for Chunguita & Pulguito. It is just squares. How hard could it be? Well, it isn’t easy to construct the pattern.

The Mother Load Layered Cookie Bars

October 27th, 2009 at 7:01 pm » Comments (1)

Chunguita and I had an evening alone, so we decided to make these cookies. The peanut butter cookie recipe seems incomplete. It worked out fine for us because I bought sugar cookie dough, peanut butter cookie dough, and chocolate chip cookie dough. The chocolate cookie recipe is DIVINE! I [...]

Rancho Las Positas

August 11th, 2009 at 3:49 pm » Comments (0)

Chunguita’s final project for kindergarten was a papier mache of Rancho Las Positas. I think I did a good job. I got an A+.

The inspiration was from the Livermore Heritage Guild.

The initial sketch.

The preliminary model.

The model from above.

And from the side.

Young California Building at Alameda County Fair

July 23rd, 2008 at 2:42 pm » Comments (0)

This year, Chunguita and Pulguito both entered items into the fair. They were on display in the Young California Building during the fair.

Won’t someone make a cake like this for me for my birthday?

One of the free craft activities was making horses.
