Christmas Lights & Christmas Eve

So I was feeling in the spirit last night, Christmas Eve, and I walked around the house taking pix of some of our decorations. We haven’t put the village out for a while because we didn’t trust Pulguito to not play with it. I’m happy to say that he and his sister did pretty well this year. There were a couple of incidents, but nothing was broken.

More after the cut.

It’s very satisfying to get it all set up, and we resisted the urge to add to it this year.

We let each kid open one present on Christmas Eve. Pulguito picked a big box with coast guard legos in them. He started building right away. He really likes legos. He can spend hours quietly playing with them.

PJs from Granny

Chunguita chose a box that held 2 sets of pjs from Granny. She changed out of the pjs that she had on so that she could wear one of the new ones. She says the figures on the pjs are gingerbread men; they look like sock monkeys to me.

I tried to take the kids out to see the lights in town. We managed to get to 2 houses on the list and stopped at 2 others on the way that were impressive.

Egg Snowman
I like this egg shaped snowman.

Merry Christmas!
