Pros and Cons

Reasons to get divorced.
A. My husband is verbally abusive.
B. I deserve to be with someone who helps me be a better me.

Reasons to stay married.
1. Keep the family intact.
2. I don’t want to fail at marriage.
3. It’s a crappy time to sell the house.

Seriously, that’s what occurs to me.

And so what would I say to a friend who gave those reasons? I’d say that she was giving her children her marriage if she stays in it. I’d say that B is never going to happen with A. I’d say that 2 & 3 were weak reasons. I’d say the family is already broken.

I really want to purge.
