What post is complete w/o a pic?

The ASG neighborhood group meeting went very last night. I lead a tutorial on how to sew an unlined cosmetic case (type) bag. The point of this exercise is that putting in a zipper is simple.

I was going to type up the instructions for this bag, but I really need pictures. I didn’t take any last night.

However, the tutorial was a huge success. I did a demo. Then the other members all made bags. We are experienced seamstresses, even LouiseS. But LouiseS hasn’t sewn in a long time and is unsure of herself right now. After my demo, I helped LouiseS a bit, and the others went charging ahead.

Oh, I forgot to mention. Susan, graciously, allowed me to use her machine for the demo. I broke the needle. Susan then allowed me to use her other machine to finish the demo. Whew!

It was a very pleasant evening.
