I have long admired the furniture in the Blue Tomatoes store. It’s of the style “early cute”. There used to be a store in Alameda, but I had no idea that the headquarters was in Livermore.

Well, yesterday, as I was speeding back to work, I saw a truck parked off Vasco with a big sign on it advertising Blue Tomatoes floor sample sale. Well, I immediately cut off all traffic as I crossed over three lanes to hang a u-ee. I had to wait at the light for an interminable two minutes. Then, I had to wait as an 18-wheeler came barreling along before I could turn left onto Las Positas.

The storage place was easy to find with plenty of parking, so I walked in to check it out. I believe that we shall be getting new furniture this weekend.

They don’t have the couches that I like listed on-line, but they did have this darling:

That is my favorite color of all time!

But do I really want a couch in that color? The couches I liked were bright yellow with orange pillows or purple with a lime green back. Oh, and I liked this chair:

I plan on returning at noontime.

I told DH that I’m ready to get rid of the daybed. He hasn’t made the connection. He thinks it is related to the rock fish season opening because I replied to that e-mail. Men!
