Get your child excited about exercise with an obstacle course. Using objects around the house, set up eight to 10 stations. Have your child hop through hula hoops, bounce a ball, jump rope, crawl under a table and toss a Frisbee.

I love when it’s nice enough outside and we set up a little course. We also include cartwheels, jacks (for hand eye coordination) and the homemade can stilts. I wish we could do it inside but our house is too cramped. We do put pillows down in the living room to do gymnastics like somersaults and head stands against the wall.
I think this idea is very good and i used this with a group of special needs children that i help out at school and they loved it
