Pigeon Point Light House

This beautiful point of land was named for a shipwreck. We visit every time that we are in the area, just because it is so beautiful. We have yet to see it smothered in fog.

Unfortunately, the lighthouse is closed to the public. A big chuck of reinforcing concrete stuff (that’s the technical term) fell off. :( There is a group that is working on restoring and reopening the lighthouse. However, it is still worth a visit if you are in the area. The views are breathtaking, and I always learn something new from the displays.
