the joys of long hair

Chunguita’s was so long (like an inch or so below her shoulders) that it was getting caught under my arm when I was lying down with her, so I decided to cut it off to shoulder length. DH wasn’t very happy about that, but I am, and I think she looks good with a pageboy haircut.

Chunguita’s bangs have grown out so that they are no longer in her eyes. Instead they get get stuck in the phlegm from her constantly running nose. Phlegm is much stiffer than hairgel, and it holds better. ;^> Somedays, Chunguita will refuse to let us do her hair. After enough of it has become glued to her face, she will consent to our putting in a barrette.

She has gotten better about leaving things in her hair. She used to take everything out, so I recommend perseverance to those of you struggling with this.

Her hair is almost all one length at her shoulders, very straight, and very fine.
